Surya replaced Vijay?

The much hyped under production flick & the first remake of Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' titled as 'Moovar' is shelved in both the versions.

There has been many speculations regarding the star cast and the director Shankar has decided to drop the project as he is not finding the suitable stars from Tollywood & Kollywood.

Initially he signed Mahesh Babu for playing 'Aamir' role in Telugu version & Vijay in Tamil version. Jeeva & Srikanth has been roped in to play the other characters in both the versions. Vijay walked out of the project due to date issues and then Mahesh Babu also walked out of the project for the same reason. Meanwhile Director Shankar approached Surya to play the lead role in both the versions but there was no signs of any kind of official announcement regarding this.

There was no updates regarding this project for a long time and the long silence of Director Shankar makes us to think that the project would have been shelved for now.

Bharath unhappy with his role!

Young actors Simbu and Bharath, who co-star in the upcoming Vaanam, are reported to be on less-than-cordial terms. It was spoken in Kollywood circles that Bharath is unhappy with his role in the movie, which is of lesser importance compared to Simbu's.

Bharath even kept away from a recent promotional event of the movie. When the media asked him about his absence, Bharath asserted that he was too busy with other projects to appear in the said promotional event. The actor also denied being unhappy with his role.

Rambha “The child is a big Pongal gift for us”!

Rambha, who exchanged wedding vows with Canada-based entrepreneur Indiran last year, delivered a baby girl in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada, last weekend.

“Both the newborn and Rambha are doing fine. The child is a big Pongal gift for us. My joy knew no bounds,” said Indiran, whose voice was brimming with happiness.

A popular actress who was part of many blockbusters in almost all south Indian languages, Rambha was the brand ambassador for a product of Indiran’s company.

The businessman, who fell in love the actress, married her later with blessings from elders in both the families. Some of the memorable movies of Rambha in Tamil include ‘Arunachalam’, ‘Ullathai Allitha’, ‘VIP’ and ‘Ninaithen Vandhai’.

Surya's next film has been announced!

Surya's next film has been announced as Maatran and the movie will be directed by KV Anand. Maatran will be the fourth movie of the director followed by Kana Kandaen, Ayan & Ko. Maatran will also be the second movie with Surya after Ayan. The movie will be produced by AGS Agoram Entertainment.

Surya's upcoming flick 7aam Arivu is slithering towards its completion and Maatran will began after 7aam Arivu is completed. The director of Maatran, KV Anand has retained the core team of Ayan and specially the music director Harris Jayraj.

The movie poster reveal that the movie will be a action movie and the actor looks very rough in the poster. Hope the movie turns out to be a great hit like Ayan. KV Anand is a Tamil cinematographer turned film director and has won Vijay Award for Favourite Film for the film Ayan in 2009 is worth mentioning.The director is trying hard to bring bollywood actress as the heroine and talks are going for Dabangg fame Sonakshi Sinha or Band Baaje Baarat girl Anushka Sharma.

Rajini appreciates Tapasee’s performance

Actress Tapasee Pannu is in Chennai to promote her debut film 'Aadukalam' which has been directed by Vetrimaran. Aadukalam has Dhanush in a protagonist role and Kishore in pivotal role. As a part of promotional activity, Tapasee Pannu was seen in the special screening of 'Aadukalam'.

Tapasee received Superstar Rajinikath at preview show of the film 'Aadukalam' on Wednesday evening and spoke few words with the superstar. But the actress was nervous to watch the film along with Rajinikanth, says sources.

After watching the preview show, superstar Rajinikanth has congratulated Tapasee for her performance in Aadukalam. Rajinikanth has shook hands and said “Good Job” which had made the actress feel delighted.

Tension stills continues for Vijay’s Kaavalan

Tension prevailed outside a theatre complex at Chromepet, a southern suburb of Chennai, Monday morning, after more than 100 fans of Vijay assembled outside the cinema hall to stage a protest.

According to them, several posters of their matinee idol starrer film ‘Kavalan’, which hit the screens on Pongal day, were ‘deliberately’ torn and damaged by miscreants. The fans also alleged that the police failed to take action when they filed a complaint.

Alleging that no case was registered against those involved in the ‘act’, angry fans raised slogans demanding immediate action against the wrong-doers. A large number of policemen were deployed at the spot.

It is to be noted that a lot of uncertainty prevailed over the release of ‘Kavalan’ till the eleventh hour. Vijay fans are of the opinion that a ‘powerful force’ has been working against their matinee idol.

Surya’s third movie going to be remade in Hindi!

7aam Arivu is Surya’s upcoming movie which is on the roll and the movie is inching towards the final stages. Shruthi Hassan is pairing with Suriya in this medical thriller.

Expectations of the movie are raising so high as the movie is based on medicine. Imagine a genre which is medico-science and a action thriller. Isn’t it creating a fantasy about the movie ? The movie is going to be remade in Hindi. So the bollywood extensions will surely have high speculations with the directors last movie.

If the movie is remade in Hindi, it will be Surya’s third movie following Raththa Sarithram, Singam in Hindi. The movie will be the 2nd movie for the director in Hindi. Ghajini has created waves at the box office. Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead in the movie and other details are unknown.
